So you have high cholesterol and need to do somethng about it and are fretting over what pills the doctor is prescribing for you, and you're wondering about the long term side effects of those pills.

Well, first of all, there are normally side problems to deal with when you are on a prescribed drug for a long period of time. The doctors don't like to tell you that and the drug companies sure don't want you to know.

Never underestimate the importance of good vegetables and fruits and nuts on a regular basis. Dairy foods are okay the experts say, but only in moderation. Another words, not much.

Excercise on a regular basis also is very important. And I don't mean running a marathon or making like a muscle person at the gym all the time. There's certainly nothing wrong with those things, but simply walking for at least 30 minutes every day can do wonders. 

The trick is to get in motion and move the body. Our body is made to move around, not sit stationary all the time. Move it or lose it as they say.

And stop fretting over the situation and have some fun with it. Foods that help keep you healthy can be fun. If it does not taste good to you, then put something on it till it does.

Never, never, never give up on your health. Learn to laugh as you go and enjoy your new lifestyle that is making you feel and look better all the time.

Instead of fretting about your situation, walk to your favorite music or audio book. Find a good joke book or humorous book and when youi really start getting stressed or down, get it out and read it as you go.

Life is wonderful and is to be fully enjoyed, and when you are healthy it makes all the difference in the world. Stop fretting over it.
